Hours of Operation

Peak Season Hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day):
7 Days A Week 8:00AM - 6:00PM

Off Season Hours:
9:00AM- 5:00PM

Reservations

Reservations are recommended, especially in our off season and busy weekends in season. Online reservations are available or call (304) 535-2663 during normal business hours. We always try our best to accomodate walk-ins. 

Meals

The Front Porch Cafe serves lunch and dinner under our pavilion. Open weekends and busy weekdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day or by request for groups. Come early, stay late.

Parking

Your help is needed. Please carpool as much as possible. We have very limited parking, especially on weekends. Besides, it's good for the environment.

Outdoor Adventure Camp

Since 2000 River Riders offers weekly day camps from June through August for ages 9-14. For more information see Outdoor Adventure Camp.

Refunds & Cancellations

Activities: Due to the cost of processing reservations, $15 plus tax per person is non-refundable. You may receive a refund for the balance of your payment upon notification made 3 days prior to your trip date. NO REFUNDS on cancellations or no shows less than 3 days notice.
Tent and RV Sites: Due to the cost of processing reservations, $15 plus tax per site is non-refundable. You may receive a refund for the balance of your payment upon notification made 3 days prior to your check in date. NO REFUNDS on cancellations or no shows less than 3 days notice.
Cabins: Due to the cost of processing reservations, $50 plus tax per cabin is non-refundable. You may receive a refund for the balance of your payment upon notification made 7 days prior to your check in date. NO REFUNDS on cancellations or no shows less than 7 days notice.

Liability Waivers

We are now using an online, paperless waiver program. Please follow the link below to complete a waiver for any of our activities. Those who reserve in advance will be provided a unique link that will connect your waiver directly to your reservation. The program will prompt you through the process. Tax Exemption

Many organizations are exempt from sales tax. Outdoor recreation activities in West Virginia are taxable. If your organization is tax exempt, you can receive an exception from paying sales tax. Form WV/CST-280 (Adobe Acrobat)* must be properly completed and submitted to us ahead of time along with a valid Business Registration Certificate.
*Any applicable user fees still apply regardless of exemption status.
