The Down River Inn is conveniently located in a semi-rural neighborhood setting with a large yard, hot tub, fire pit and large field in the back. The home has cable internet and wifi and free off-street parking.
The space
The home has a hot tub on the back patio with a picnic table and gas grill nearby. There is also a campfire ring in the backyard. Wood is available for sale at River Riders nearby and can be delivered during business hours.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the home, private off-street parking and a large backyard.
Other things to note
There may be a 3-night minimum or more over Holiday Periods and other peak times. The property is adjacent to River Riders and Snow Riders for convenient access to that and the Harpers Ferry campground. There is also a hiking trail to the Shenandoah River nearby. Hollywood Casino is 4 miles away. All amenities like bikes, canoes, kayaks, and rafts are available at River Riders next door for a fee. Refunds will not be given because of a routine mechanical failure of any device in the home. While we regularly maintain the homes, things break. We will make every effort to repair any item as quickly as possible, but we will not offer refunds for the failure of a device or amenity in/at the home. Tesla charger is located at River Riders about 100 yards from the home that is Free for guests to use.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in begins at 4 pm at our main office. Our office hours vary from day to day, so if you will be checking in after we close, we will email you late check in information with directions to get directly to your rental!

Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders which allows for excellent access to the tubing runs. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home.
We are very excited and hope you enjoy your stay! Semi-rural area where we have 4 other vacation rental homes that all back up to a large field. The home is conveniently located near River Riders and 2 miles from downtown Harpers Ferry.
Getting around
On-site parking is available. Guests will normally want to have a car available to access all of the attractions in the area. Transportation can also be arranged with Varsity Travel or River Riders next door for brewery and winery tours or trips to the casino (fee may be charged.)
The Adventure Inn is a beautifully renovated historical home, perfect for larger family groups looking for a getaway. The home is in a rural location yet centrally located to Harpers Ferry attractions and features a large hot tub, private deck, campfire ring and partially fenced yard. There is a large great room great for groups.
The Battlefields Inn is a beautifully renovated historical home in a rural setting equipped to work from home and enjoy nearby areas for walking on National Park Battlefields.
Country Roads Inn is our huge Cape Cod style home in a partially wooded setting adjacent to River Riders Adventure Resort with evening sunset views, a hot tub, huge yard and lots of space for your group. Twin kitchens, cookware, dining space for 20 and a full finished basement mean plenty of place for your group to gather.
