We have electric sewer, and water hook-ups at all of our RV sites. In order to get our water to the sites, however, it is under pressure. The pressure to the RV sites is up to 70 psi which may exceed manufacturer recommendations for pressure to your unit. We recommend a pressure regulator!
The campground office is located at River Riders' main base. We offer snacks, firewood, bug spray, and other common campground needs.
Lovely surroundings make for a perfect place to unwind with a swim or a snooze under the sun. We have shady waterfront sites. Some sites have concrete patios and feature fire rings.
In addition to the boat ramp, you can tie your boat off at your site. River Riders offers rafting, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and biking trips.
The campground is in a beautiful / unique location. Because of that it is a mixed use site. The last zipline in the Harpers Ferry Canopy Tour passes over some of the Cabin/ RV / Deluxe Tent sites. The boat launch is used by River Riders to drop off some of their guests. There are train tracks up the hill behind the campground and a tunnel nearby where you may hear horn honking at some of the sites, so if you're a light sleeper, it will help to bring ear plugs for the occasional trains at night. Our RV sites are back-in only, we do not have any pull-through sites.
Please park your car in your designated parking location and not on the public gravel road nearby. 1 parking space is available per site.
Check-in begins at 3 pm at our campground. Our office hours vary from day to day, so if you will be checking in after we close, then you follow the after hours check in instructions sent to your email.
Check-In Location: 408 Alstadts Hill Road Harpers Ferry, WV 25425
The above address is to River Riders.. We do not recommend searching our campground location on google, as it typically will not take you to our campground. It may also try to take you through a tunnel that only has 10' of clearance, which is very hazardous for guests with RVs.
Check-out is at 11 am.

Although the location is primitive, we do have a bathhouse with 3 showers, 3 sinks and 3 toilets. It is ADA compliant, so if someone uses a wheelchair they will be able to use it comfortably.
Outside Firewood
Currently, We do not allow Unpackaged outside firewood. We ask that any firewood that is brought from outside our campground be packaged to avoid bringing any insects or creatures.
Because of the Lantern Flys and Ash Borer Beetles we are not allowing outside firewood. Due to the harm this invasive species can bring to our plants and trees we cannot allow unpackaged firewood in the Harpers Ferry Campground. Thank you for your help!
