For experienced class III canoeists, we offer you and your companion canoeing on the exciting, challenging run on the Needles of the Potomac. Three sections of rapids make up the whitewater on this trip. Slow water periods in between will allow viewing the spectacular Harpers Ferry water gap including the cliffs of Maryland Heights, bald eagles, and peregrine falcons. The guiding's up to you!

Description:
Enjoy the beauty of Harpers Ferry on a 1/2 day canoe and 2 hour bike trip. Your adventure will start in Shepherdstown, WV with an 8 mile canoe trip to just above Harpers Ferry. We'll meet you there and exchange your canoe for bikes. You will then have 2 hours to journey down to Harpers Ferry. You can decide if you'd like to stop there to enjoy the town or continue over to the C & O Canal. Then you bike back to our Potomac waterfront location for pick-up. It's the perfect ending to a wonderful day.
