We'll meet you there and exchange your kayaks for bikes. You will then have 2 hours to journey down to Harpers Ferry. You can decide if you'd like to stop there to enjoy the town or continue over to the C & O Canal. Then you bike back to our Potomac waterfront location for pick-up. We will design this trip to meet your needs. Want 2 days of long riding? Try Cumberland to Harpers Ferry or Hancock to Georgetown. Want to take it easy and see the sites? Try Williamsport to Antietam Creek Campground, mile 99 to 68, and Antietam Creek to Point of Rocks, mile 68 to 47. Or stay in Shepherdstown at mile 73, and we’ll arrange hotel accommodations if desired.

Enjoy the beauty and accomplishment of riding the 184 mile C&O Canal Towpath. The most popular full Canal ride option, three sixty mile days ending in Hancock, Harpers Ferry and Georgetown. On the first day or the afternoon before, we pick up in Georgetown or the DC airports and shuttle you to Cumberland. We meet you in Georgetown on Day 3. Sites include the Paw Paw Tunnel, Dam’s 3, 4, and 5, historic Shepherdstown and the Harpers Ferry Gap, and Great Falls of the Potomac.
Four Day Bike Ride
