July 4th Weekend Twilight rafting trips

At 3 PM on Saturday July 2nd and Monday, July 4, 2011 River Riders will have our annual special departure twilight rafting trip in honor of our nations birthday. The trip will include a White Water Rafting Trip on the Shenandoah River followed by a steak cookout. The trip will wrap up in time to make your own way to view fireworks in Baker Park in Frederick, MD.
 

July 4th, Annual Twilight Rafting Trip
This trip is so popular that we decided to offer it two days!

At 3 PM on Saturday July 2nd and Monday, July 4th River Riders will have our annual special 3pm departure twilight rafting or kayaking trip in honor of our nations birthday. The trip will include the Shenandoah white water rafting trip and a steak cookout afterwards.

The Saturday July 2nd trip will conclude in time for you to make your own way to Sam Michael Park in Shenandoah Junction, WV in time to watch the Jefferson County fireworks.
*A special shuttle option is available on SATURDAY JULY 2nd ONLY to Sam Michael Park for an additional $7 per person. This shuttle will drop you off at Sam Michael park to view the Jefferson County fireworks. After the show the shuttle will bring you back to River Riders where your visit with us will conclude.

The Monday July 4th trip will conclude in time for participants to make their own way to Baker Park in Frederick, to enjoy the fireworks.
This Independence Day Special Trip is $85 per person. Book now, as this trip has limited availability and is one of our most popular summer offerings!
 

Rafting

The Shenandoah white water rafting trip is an enjoyable experience including both class I-III whitewater action and slow water solitude. Qualified guides accompany each raft trip.
Rafts, paddles, life jackets, and shuttle to and from the river are provided. Each raft accommodates four to six guests. No previous rafting experience required. However, participants should have no fear of water activities, and you will get wet. Reservations are required.
