The OCV Prowler is Blue Hole's tough recreational canoe, ideal for white water excitement or a day of fishing.

It offers the same comfortable 15'9" size of the original OCA with a wide flat bottom and the familiar recurved bow and stern.

With its wear-reducing lifts on both ends and easy-paddling tumblehome, the prowler is a uniquely comfortable platform for one person or a family.

Unlike the OCA's aluminum gunwales, thwarts, and trim, the Prowler's trim and gunwales are durable black vinyl. Yoke, thwart, and carry handles are all made of white ash.

Bow and stern seats have solid ash frames with nylon webbing for comfort and durability. All in all, the OCV Prowler is a strong, attractive canoe that is virtually maintenance free.

The Prowlers that we carry at River Riders are specially made to withstand heavier rental use. They have an extra thick layer of Royalex in the bottom to make them more durable. This adds about 8 pounds to the weight of a standard OCV Prowler.
