This class V river has a descent of over 1000 ft within seven miles of the ten mile section! The Upper Yough provides wild, senic excitement at every turn!
 

The World Famous Upper Yough is only 15 Minutes from Deep Creek Lake. Scheduled Dam Releases Guarantee Class V Whitewater ALL summer long! Each self-bailing raft is equiped with an experienced guide to navigate you through the steep and intricate river flow.
 

Upper Youghiogheny River - Lost and Found RapidWith over 20 major rapids hurling at you, The Upper Yough provides continous non-stop action. Class V Rapids like Charlie's Choice, Tommy's Hole, Heinserling, Meat Cleaver, Lost and Found, Cheeseburger, Pencil Sharpener, Little Niagra, and National Falls will get your heart pumping and test your paddling skills! The river sluices around and through boulder choked drops, some with 5-8' tall waterfalls. Brace yourself, pay attention and be ready for some adrenalin pumpin', free radical fighting fun! Trip participants should be in good shape and not afraid of water. Don't miss out on this world class trip! There is very limited space per release.
